Who We Are
The PsychIfe Mental Health First Aid Club is a student-based organization in the Department of Psychology, OAU. We exist to empower students with the knowledge and skills to provide basic mental health support to their peers.
Our Purpose
To promote mental health awareness across the OAU community
To offer early, safe, and confidential peer support
To bridge the gap between students and professional mental health care
To create a judgment-free, stigma-free space for students
Our History
The club was established in 2024 by psychology students who identified a gap in accessible emotional support on campus.
With the guidance of licensed clinical professionals and senior staff advisers, the first cohort of student Mental Health First Aiders was trained in October 2025.
The club now functions as a structured system of student support, advocacy, documentation, and referral.

Provide safe, confidential, evidence-based peer support.
